Asuka could be turning heel in a major way soon. She has been tweeting cryptic messages daily indicating her dark turn, for a couple of weeks now. These tweets have a common theme of her being sad and repeatedly requesting everyone to leave her alone.
Verstossen sei auf ewig,
Verlassen sei auf ewig,
Zertrümmert sei'n auf ewig
Alle Bande der Natur.Disowned may you be forever,
Abandoned may you be forever,
Destroyed be forever
All the bonds of nature. pic.twitter.com/AcNCSOzAOeAdvertisement— ASUKA / 明日華 (@WWEAsuka) December 8, 2022
It seems she is venting out her frustrations of her being sad over losing again and again on RAW. Due to the grim nature of her tweets, the WWE Universe was even concerned about her in reality. However now it seems that these antics are part of her gimmick change. If she was actually depressed or going through something, the WWE doctors would’ve taken precautionary steps.
The Empress of Tomorrow is famous for her cheerful and bubbly personality. She has rarely been seen in a dark avatar on the main roster ever since her debut in 2017. On NXT, she had a mean streak to her. She also has the distinction of being the longest reigning NXT Women’s champion ever at 510 days. But she was the darkest when she was in Japan. She was the terrifying Kana there. As Kana, she had an evil aura around her and wore equally menacing make up that made her look like the stuff of nightmares. She has teased bringing back this gimmick soon on her twitter too by posting her old pics as Kana.

The former Women’s Champion (both RAW -2 time and SmackDown) has fallen away from the title picture in recent times. She desperately needs this change in personality just like her tag team partner Alexa Bliss. Bliss is going through a similar transformation towards the dark side ever since her former partner Bray Wyatt returned. It has helped her as well since she is the current No. 1 contender for Bianca Belair‘s RAW Women’s title.
Maybe both Asuka and Bliss can turn into a spooky scary tag team & scare the knickers off the women’s locker room soon.
