Damian Priest says The Undertaker wants to see WWE as number 1

Reigning WWE United States Champion Damian Priest heaped praise on WWE Legend The Undertaker in his latest interview. Priest has gradually become one of the top stars in the WWE. He is currently a part of the Monday night RAW roster, where he holds the US title and tries to defend it every week. As of this Monday, Priest is set for an US title Open Challenge on RAW.

Priest wrestled at WrestleMania 37 in a tag team match alongside Bad Bunny. The two opponents of the tag team were The Miz and John Morrison. Speaking about WrestleMania, The Undertaker will go down as one of the best performers in the history of the pay-per-view event.

No WWE fan can ever forget the legendary streak of the Undertaker at WrestleMania. Current US Champion Damian Priest had nothing but kind words for The Undertaker during his chat with Vicente Beltrán of ViBe & Wrestling. Here’s what Priest had to say:

“His love for our business, for WWE, is infinite and [he] has within him the need to help and to be positive and want us all to be successful in our careers. He likes to see how people achieve their dreams and wants the company to remain number one. I am a super fan of him, and I was very nervous to have a conversation with him, but he is a tremendous, humble human being.”

Can Damian Priest build a streak like The Undertaker?

Damian Priest has been one of the most dominant Superstars on Monday night RAW. As mentioned ahead, he is currently the United States Champion, and he is likely to have a lengthy reign.

Priest won his first major WrestleMania match earlier this year. If WWE wish to build him as a future star, they might continue pushing him as a star. However, it is unlikely that any Superstar will ever replicate The Undertaker’s streak.
