Real Money Distributed On RAW. Dexter Lumis Is officially A WWE Superstar.

Dexter Lumis got what he wanted and had been striving after for months. He finally had a one-on-one match against The Miz with a WWE contract on the line. Also on the line was the money he was owed by Miz. It was placed in a duffle bag ringside.

The match was a High Stakes No DQ contest. Miz tried to walkout of the match but WWE official Adam Pearce stopped him and told him the match was still on. In the match, Miz tried all he could to keep Lumis down, including tightening a screw device around his head.

The action spilled ringside and as they went back in, Lumis tapped him out via The Silence submission hold. Pearce then brought the contract to him, that he signed and also handed him the bag full of cash.

Surprisingly, as Lumis was leaving, he started distributing real dollar bills from the bag to kids in the front row audience. Shockingly, these bills were not fake WWE money but real cash including a 100 dollar bill to the last kid. Christmas had come early for these children with Lumis playing Santa Claus.

Miz, being the weasel he is, attacked him from behind and took the bag. He even took the $100 bill from the child. However, Dexter’s old friend from NXT, Johnny Gargano showed up and delivered a superkick to Miz’s face. He then returned the bag full of money back to Dexter and the bill to the young fan too.

WWE later showed the young fans who had received the money, shopping from the merchandise stand.

This match was the conclusion of a storyline where Lumis was stocking The Miz everywhere. Miz claimed Dexter was his Hollywood stalker because he considers himself an A-Lister. Gargano revealed on the October 31st episode of RAW that Miz had in fact hired Lumis to be his stalker to gain popularity. He even released a phone recording and secret video footage exposing him. He explained that Dexter fell on hard times financially following his release this year. That’s why he started working for The Miz but ended up attacking him weekly because Miz stopped paying his dues.

Miz had avoided this match until today. Hopefully, this storyline has ended for good.
