Randy Orton Set To Break All-Time WWE Record At Survivor Series

Randy Orton is one of the most well-known Superstars in WWE right now. The Viper is a former multi-time world champion and a Grand Slam champion in Vince McMahon’s wrestling promotion. Last year, he won the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre inside the WWE Thunderdome, but he lost the title to McIntyre just a week before the Survivor Series pay-pay-view.

This year, at the Survivor Series show, Randy Orton is set to participate in a Champion vs. Champion match. He is currently holding the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships with Riddle on the Red brand. The team, known as RK-Bro, will lock horns with the reigning WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos.

As reported by WhatCulture, this match will be the 177th pay-per-view match for Randy Orton, and he will break Kane’s long-standing record for the most PPV matches by a WWE Superstar. The Big Red Machine wrestled in 176 matches, and Randy leveled the tally at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia.

Randy Orton wanted to ride a camel for his entrance at WWE Crown Jewel 2021

As mentioned ahead, WWE Crown Jewel saw the 176th PPV match of Randy Orton, and his tag team partner Riddle had a unique entrance for their match against AJ Styles and Omos. Riddle came out in a camel, and even Randy wanted to do the same. However, Vince McMahon declined him, saying it would not suit his character.

“Randy wanted to ride a camel and Vince wouldn’t let him. He goes, ‘Randy, that’s not your character, riding a camel.’ He’s like, ‘What does that mean, man?! My character doesn’t ride a camel?!’ I’m like, ‘Randy, I’m sorry bro, sometimes you’re just not the dude that rides camels,” Riddle said in a recent interview.

It will be exciting to see which team comes out on top in the battle between RK-Bro and The Usos this Sunday.
