WrestleMania main event decided

As reported two weeks earlier by wrestling breaking news website @NewsXero on Twitter, Becky Lynch will probably face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 39. In the last few years, we have seen WrestleMania transform into a two-day event and this match is potentially the main event of day 1 of the mega event. Now other wrestling news accounts are reporting the same thing.

Rousey is facing Liv Morgan in extreme rules match at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on October 8th and Becky Lynch has been out of action since SummerSlam 2022 with an injury. She suffered a separated shoulder in her match against Bianca Belair in a losing effort.

In the Out Of Character podcast with Ryan Satin last month, Becky Lynch gave her thoughts on potentially facing Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 39, saying that if Rousey wants to face her at the event of events, she will have to get a little better in the ring.

Her excerpts: “Maybe If She Starts Training A Little Bit More. Maybe, If She Gets A Little Better”

This snarky comment by Lynch targeting Rousey’s in-ring skills had sparked rumor mills and insiders had reported the two top female stars facing each other at WrestleMania Day 1’s main event.

During an Instagram Live, Becky revealed an update on her shoulder injury and it’s turning out to be very positive. She said she is hopefully coming back in the next two months and would also be doing some writing on her book during this hiatus.

She also said that she didn’t think that her shoulder would be healing so soon because of all the pain but it seems she will be back before expected as she is regaining mobility in her shoulder fast. Fans were speculating she to return as a surprise entrant at the Royal Rumble but now it’s looking like she may be cleared to return to in-ring action much before that.
