“If Vince McMahon Is Willing”- AEW Star MJF Reveals 1 Condition To Join WWE

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is one of the top pro wrestling companies on earth right now. The Tony Khan-owned wrestling promotion has signed several ex-WWE Superstars and also given a platform to several young pro wrestlers, transforming them into homegrown stars. One of them is MJF.

CM Punk had a great rivalry with him, and many consider him as the biggest heel in AEW right now. However, it seems like the AEW Superstar is looking forward to seeing offers from WWE soon. According to reports, his contract is expiring soon, and in a recent appearance at the For the Love of Wrestling convention, MJF discussed that possibility.

He honestly admitted that he did not join the professional wrestling world to make the fans happy. So if WWE offers him more money than AEW then he would consider moving to the Vince McMahon-owned wrestling promotion.

“I did not get into this business to make any of you happy. I got into this business to make as much money as humanly possible. And if Vincent Kennedy McMahon is willing to shell out more money than my good friend Tony Khan, then yes, I’d go to WWE,” he said.

When will the contract of MJF expire?

The Salt of the Earth has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since the year 2019. His current contract will last till 2023, and he will be a free agent at the start of 2024.

It will be interesting to see whether he continues being a part of the pro wrestling promotion that has given him fame or prefers taking the WWE route. In case he follows Cody Rhodes to WWE, it will be a massive loss to AEW because he is an integral part of their roster at the moment. Until 2023 at least, fans will see his work in AEW only.
