Twitter Reacts As Big E Wins The WWE Championship On RAW

After almost a decade since his inception and relentless versatility, Big E finally managed to rack up his moment of reckoning as he cashed in on his ‘money in the bank’ contract against Bobby Lashley to become the WWE champion.

In the Money In the Bank PPV, Big E performed a Big Ending on Seth Rollins to grab the contract that entitled him with a shot at the title.

The speculations around Big E cashing in on his contract started when he tweeted on Monday afternoon that he will be taking the title shot in Raw.

The story of the fabled night

The night starts with the collision of Orton and Lashley as the two contrasting grapplers made it a point to give hell to each other. Orton had the upper hand for a while as he kept on rolling out of the ring, frustrating Lashley.

However, once Lashley managed to get hold of the Legend Killer, he tormented him after working him in the corner of the ring. He caught Randy in the middle of an RKO and hit him with a spear that resulted in a near fall.

Randy Orton managed to get back in the match with his signature finishing move RKO but MVP managed to pull out Lashley from the ring in time. This infuriated Randy Orton and the Viper hit MVP with another RKO.

That moment of distraction was all that the defending champion needed to put Randy Orton to rest as Lashley hit him with a spear, securing a pinfall.

The pinfall didn’t stop Lashley’s salvo as he kept on hammering Randy and Piper after the match. As Lashley drove Orton through a table, he copped an injury on his leg. Hobbling back to the ring, he found Big E waiting to ambush him and even before he could have refused to fight, Big E hit him with a slap.

Lashley did manage to go on a counter but Big E silenced it with a chop block and attempted a Big Ending. Sadly for Big E, Lashley countered it with a spear only for Big E to kick out at a two-count.

That was everything that Lashley could have offered after a grueling bout with Orton as Big E capitalized on his tiredness and executed a Big Ending successfully to cop the most awaited victory of the decade.
