Emma Opens Up About Her WWE Return With Ryan Satin

Emma was recently on the Out of Character interview with WWE analyst Ryan Satin. She expressed her thoughts on various topics including her return to WWE after 5 long years.

Satin asked her when she thought her return was possible. To this, she revealed that it was a few months after Triple H took over as the Head of Creative.  She said she was working with Impact Wrestling and her contract was about to expire. In the back of her mind, she wanted to explore other options after that. Emma was watching the WWE programming all these years and liking what Triple H was doing with NXT. She always had a good relationship with HHH and was wondering if she could go back to WWE. In a month or two, they actually got in touch. Hunter told her that he was trying to get in touch with her even sooner than that but got very busy. After that she was actually signed back with the company.

The 33 year old Australian revealed that she was heartbroken when she left WWE. She travelled all around the world competing in independent shows. Emma had not maintained contact with most people in WWE except a close circle of friends. Therefore, it was very random when Triple H and she spoke.

She feels some of the best years of her life were spent in NXT and Paige was her favourite opponent. They were the top Women’s features in the first NXT Arrival and TakeOver shows. It was because of Hunter.  Her coming back to the WWE under him is a full circle of sorts, she thinks.

Emma returned on a SmackDown episode in October to answer Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the title.
