AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens with Billy Gunn) have dropped their rap diss track recently making fun of and poking Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland). Swerve In Our Glory is challenging them for the titles on tomorrow at the Full Gear pay per view event.
What’s so special about this track, apart from it being well written, is it’s movie reference and it’s guest appearance. As it begins, it re enacts a scene from the hit 90s movie The Waterboy starring Hollywood star Adam Sandler. In the movie, Paul Wight had made a guest appearance as a fictional wrestler Captain Insano. Insano laughs hysterically at Adam Sandler’s dimwitted character Robert Boucher Jr. when he calls the wrestler and asks him something silly. The Acclaimed have recreated this scene by bringing in Paul Wight himself. He laughs in a similar fashion at the two actors who play Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland when they call to ask him about the probability of them beating the champs. The track called “A Hand For A Hand” aired on the November 16th episode of AEW Dynamite.

Paul Wight (formerly known as Big Show in WWE) is a veteran in pro wrestling industry. He is currently a commentator for AEW Dark: Elevation but can also wrestle occasionally.
Their History
Caster and Bowens beat Lee & Strickland in September at AEW Grand Slam 2022 to capture the world tag team titles for the first time. Billy Gunn played an important part in this win though. The rivalry between the Acclaimed and Swerve in Our Glory began before the AEW All Out PPV. At the event, the arena audience was firmly behind The Acclaimed but they lost to the then champions. Their match tomorrow will be the third one between the two teams. Swerve In Our Glory will look to become 2 time AEW World Tag Team Champions at tomorrow’s PPV.
One of these teams will leave #AEWFullGear as Tag Team Champions! Who ya got?
LIVE on PPV this SATURDAY 8pm ET/5pm PT.
