Former WWE champion Ric Flair was a part of the legendary Four Horsemen faction that made a massive impact on the pro wrestling business. Flair has retired from in-ring competition now. He regularly shares his views on the current happenings in pro wrestling, and on a recent episode of his To Be The Man Podcast, Flair named the four Superstars who would fit in the modern-day Four Horsemen faction.
Fans should note that like the Four Horsemen, there exists a modern-day Four Horsewomen faction. It consists of Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair and Bayley. All four Superstars have been enormously successful in their WWE careers. They have won multiple championships and delivered many memorable matches to the fans.
According to Ric Flair, he himself would be a part of the modern-day Four Horsemen faction along with reigning WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns, former AEW Superstar Cody Rhodes and reigning WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Randy Orton. Here’s what he said on his podcast:
“Ric, Roman, Randy, and I’m trying to think of one that fits in that group perfectly,” Flair said. “You wanna know something? Cody Rhodes. There’s the answer. I had to think for a second. That would have been great. It’s not even arguable, Randy is the best performer in the business… male. There’s nothing to argue about.”
Ric Flair was involved in a storyline with Randy Orton two years ago in WWE
During the pandemic era of WWE, Flair made regular appearances on WWE RAW and stood in the corner of Randy Orton. Ultimately, Orton turned on him to write him off TV. Soon after, fans saw Flair in a different avatar.
He was involved in a rivalry between Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair, where he was in the corner of Lacey. Flair left WWE after some time.
