Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal wishes to bring WWE Hall of Famer The Great Khali back in the WWE. Mahal has a lot of history with Khali in the WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer came back to the WWE to help Mahal defend his WWE Championship in a Punjabi Prison Match against Randy Orton at Battleground in 2017.
Besides, the two Superstars also were involved in same storylines during Mahal’s first stint with the WWE. In an interview with Sportskeeda, Jinder Mahal expressed his desire to bring The Great Khali back to the WWE. Here’s what Mahal said:
“I would love to bring The Great Khali back! WWE Hall of Famer; much congratulations to The Great Khali, awesome person, awesome WWE Superstar. Yeah, if it was up to me, Great Khali would have been with me every week. Great Khali, maybe this is an invite to you, ‘Come back to the WWE; I would love to have you.”
Jinder Mahal is currently performing on the Monday night RAW brand. It is the flagship show of the company. Mahal has formed a faction with Veer and Shanky. Earlier, Mahal had the Singh Brothers by his side. However, the WWE has released Samir and Sunil Singh from their roster now.
Jinder Mahal lost to Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam last Saturday
Jinder Mahal was in action against former 2-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. He did not have Veer and Shanky in his corner. As many fans expected, McIntyre came out on top in the match against his former 3MB teammate.
Now, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre will likely head in different directions on RAW. Mahal will have to pick up some wins to make himself relevant. It will be interesting to see if The Great Khali returns to the WWE to help Mahal.
