“He Could Become Next The Rock”- Bully Ray Showers Praise On Young Superstar

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Bully Ray has claimed that current All Elite Wrestling Superstar MJF has the potential to become the next The Rock of professional wrestling. In a recent discussion with Tommy Dreamer and Mark Henry on the Busted Open show, the trio picked the young wrestlers they would sign if they started a new pro wrestling promotion.

The three names that came up were AEW Superstars MJF and Hook along with WWE United States Champion Theory. Giving his in-depth analysis about the talent possessed by the three Superstars, Ray talked about MJF and compared his mic skills with that of WWE Legend The Rock.

Here’s what Bully Ray had to say while comparing MJF with the Rock:

“If anybody could ever challenge what The Rock was able to accomplish on the microphone, I think it’s MJF. I think given time, seasoning, the right people to stand across from him, the right people to tighten his screws, MJF could become the next Rock on the microphone.”

MJF gave his opinion on who could win a promo battle between him and The Rock

During a recent Twitter interaction with one of his fans, MJF decided to reply to a fan who asked who would win a battle on the mic between The Rock and himself. Interestingly, MJF did not name any of the two Superstars and mentioned that the marks  would win it.

In case you didn’t know, the marks are that category of fans who always complain about the recent happenings in pro wrestling but always watch the product as well.

MJF recently stated that he would consider a move to WWE if he receives a better financial offer from the Vince McMahon-owned pro wrestling promotion. The AEW Superstar would not mind leaving Tony Khan’s company if he receives a better offer from WWE.
