Top AEW Star Seriously Injured In The Dynamite Main Event

AEW Dynamite had an unfortunate tragedy today when a top star of the company was stretchered out of the arena. Hangman” Adam Page seemed to have suffered a neck injury.

It happened during the main event of the world title match between Adam Page and Jon Moxley. The AEW World Champion Moxley was defending his title against the challenger Page after their intense feud that was heating up over the past few weeks. It became evident that this will be a physically grueling match between the two when they started brawling outside the ring even before the match officially started.

In the match, Hangman was the aggressor but the champion was trying his best to resist his onslaught. The champion even started bleeding from the head due to the aggression from the challenger. While the match looked great going forward, it came to an abrupt end when a King Kong lariat from Moxley knocked Page out cold for real. So great was the impact, it turned Adam upside down as he fell on his face.

It was evident that something was wrong when the referee kept on checking him on the mat and talking to him. Soon he signaled the ringside doctor to step in. The match was stopped and the winner was Moxley by default.

Also that Page was discharged from the medical facility later. However, he will still be under the company’s concussion protocol, which means he will not return to the ring in the near future.
