Former WWE writer Vince Russo has opined that five-time women’s champion Alexa Bliss should think of leaving WWE in the coming years. Explaining the reason behind it, Russo said that Alexa is more talented than most of the Superstars in the company right now and she could have a good career in Hollywood.
When Alexa Bliss started off in WWE, not many fans backed her to achieve success. However, with her remarkable promo skills and ever-improving ring work, Alexa has proven her doubters wrong and won the championship five times. She was the first Superstar in WWE history to win the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships.
On this week’s WWE RAW episode, Bliss made her much-awaited return to WWE and squashed former WWE Authority figure Sonya Deville in a 40-second match. Fans were ecstatic to see her back. But here’s what Russo had to say during a chat with Sportskeeda:
“Alexa Bliss needs to get out of dodge, man.” Russo continued, “She is so much better than that company and her talents are so much better. Who knows, maybe with her husband [singer Ryan Cabrera], maybe he’s got some connections, some pull, maybe he’s got an agent. She could be a legit actress.”
Alexa Bliss was reportedly frustrated with her position in WWE
Despite being one of the most popular female Superstars of the company, Alexa Bliss failed to receive a spot on the WrestleMania 38 match card. Some fans thought that she took a break from pro wrestling for her marriage.
However, reports surfaced online claiming that she was not happy with the way the WWE creative team booked her. Looking at the way she squashed Sonya Deville upon her return to WWE RAW, it should not be a surprise if Little Miss Bliss receives a big push on the red brand soon.
