“Oh, I’ve Been Feeling Ucey” Sami Zayn Gets Showered With Praises From Wrestling Legend

Sami Zayn received praises from an unlikely source recently. Former WWE Manager and pro wrestling legend Jim Cornette has given his nod of approval to Zayn in his Honorary Uce gimmick.

During the Drive-Thru podcast, Cornette exclaimed “Oh, I’ve been feeling Ucey”. He revealed that Sami is his favourite superstar on the current roster. Sami has always had a comedy gimmick throughout his career, be it a heel comic or a face comic, either in WWE or elsewhere. Cornette also claimed that Zayn’s previous gimmick in Ring Of Honor of El Generico wasn’t his favourite. He said, “Let me tell you something. I never thought that I would say this. But I think now Sami Zayn is my favourite person to watch on television. El Generico certainly wasn’t, but Sami Zayn is incredible,”

Sami quoted a tweet by the pro wrestling news handle, @WrestlingNewsCo which had revealed the manager’s views about him. In his trademark Uce style, he tweeted “My Dawg?”

The pro wrestling expert didn’t just stop at this. He expressed his love for Zayn’s weasel-ish character and was at a loss of words describing his appreciation.

“He’s turned it into his own weasel-ish delivery… I mean, all the adjectives and nouns and verbs and adverbs you can come up with. He’s great…” He also said that Sami is turning into the biggest babyface in the business.

Apart from Sami, he also promoted The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and compared him to his Hollywood cousin, The Rock. He especially liked the segment on the SmackDown of October 28th where Jey Uso couldn’t stop his laughter from Sami’s “Ucey” comment and covered his face. The way Roman pulled Jey aside and talked to him and had fun at his expense reminded him of The Rock’s style.

There are rumours of The Tribal Chief and The Great One facing each other at WrestleMania 39, if The Rock’s busy Hollywood schedule allows him.
