Kevin Owens Took Out The Bloodline And Joined Against Them At WarGames

The tenth member of the Men’s WarGames match, who is also the fifth member of Sheamus’ team was confirmed. Last SmackDown, we found out that Kevin Owens will be the last member of the team against The Bloodline. So, officially the history making match will now be between The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn) and The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch), Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens.

Although many had suspected Owens to be the final member, his participation was in doubt because he suffered a knee injury during a WWE RAW Live event last Sunday. He won a match against Austin Theory but the referee had to help him back. He had suffered a sprained knee (MCL sprain) reportedly.

What went down on SmackDown

As the show opened, the three Brawling Brutes Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch accompanied Drew McIntyre to the ring. Some bro talk happened like Sheamus calling McIntyre honorary Brutie and reminding everyone that Drew was the best man at his wedding. Sami Zayn then interrupted them saying he didn’t care who their fifth member was because he was confident that The Bloodline would win. However, The Usos were concerned and went around the back, asking who the fifth member was.

In the main event of the night, Sami faced Butch in the Quarter finals of the SmackDown World Cup. Butch won the match after some confusion caused by Jey Uso, who ran into the ring to escape Sheamus. Butch utilised the distraction to hit Zayn with the Bitter End and picked the win.

A brawl ensued between the opposing factions, and Roman Reigns finally arrived and started dominating the competition. It was then that Kevin Owens’ music hit and he approached the ring and started laying out The Bloodline.
