Finn Balor is one of the most popular Superstars in WWE right now. He has made a name for himself with his fantastic pro wrestling skills. Many WWE fans would remember that he had a fantastic match with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2016, where he became the first Superstar to win the brand new WWE Universal Championship.
Unfortunately, during that match, Balor injured his shoulder, and that injury forced him to relinquish his newly won title. Balor never got another world title reign after that. He came close to becoming the Universal Champion multiple times, but on all occasions, he fell short.
He has won the United States Championship and the Intercontinental Championship in his WWE career, but none of his title reigns were memorable. Currently, he is involved in a rivalry with The Judgement Day, where he has teamed up with The Phenomenal AJ Styles to take on the duo of Edge and Damian Priest.
Commenting on the reason behind WWE not booking Finn Balor strongly, Booker T said on the Hall of Fame podcast:
“Finn Balor goes out there and does some of the most spectacular moves that you’ve ever seen. But when, just say for instance, when he cuts a promo, he may not make you feel like he really wants to go out there and hurt that guy. I think, as far as guys getting over is believability.”
Liv Morgan may soon join forces with Finn Balor and AJ Styles
Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley has joined The Judgement Day faction. She helped Edge defeat AJ Styles at the WrestleMania Backlash premium live event.
Since Ripley was involved in a rivalry with Liv Morgan before joining Edge and Damian Priest, the chances of Liv aligning with Finn Balor and Styles are quite high. It will be interesting to see if she joins them.
