Chelsea Green has been a reckoning force for WWE and ever since her return she has been rocking and rolling the ring for the fans and they absolutely love it. Triple H has ensured the fact that all the women participants are cooking a story like never before and that is exactly the game-changer for Green.
In a recent interview, she has expressed her belief which can very well make the fans delighted about the return of a former WWE champion. The man in question is none other than Matt Cardona, better known to the WWE fans as Zack Ryder.
The 38-year-old performers worked for WWE for a staggering 15 years before being released in 2020. He had a successful run with the company that saw him winning the Intercontinental and United States Championship multiple times. He also won the Tag Team Championship twice alongside Curt Hawkings.
Speaking on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast, Cardona’s wife, Green expressed her glee about a lot of things, one of which was certainly a massive hint about the return of Zack Ryder, one of the fan favourites for WWE.
Here is what Chelsea Green had to say about the return of Zack Ryder
Green said, “I am patiently waiting. Because not that I want to be partnered up with him [Matt Cardona] in WWE. That would be great. I think we could have an amazing mixed match, tag team division, whatever it is. But I don’t know. I don’t know why, I would love to know why.”
She further added, “I would love to be a fly on the wall of kind of like the meetings of the top guys in WWE. But I do feel like in my heart of hearts, it’s only a matter of time, it feels crazy that he wouldn’t be.”
Shedding light on her return she said, “I said, I just want to come back. I don’t care what you do with me. Because at that point I didn’t. I just wanted stability and to be back. And I knew that if they gave me the opportunity that I felt I deserved in the first run, I could prove to them.”
Green concluded by saying, “I didn’t know how and they had no idea. And then I think that it was like well, I mean, we’ve got her she signed why don’t we just use her in the Rumble and we’ll go from there?”
