“It’s Long Overdue”- Rikishi Wants His Brother Umaga In WWE’s HOF

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has sent out a message to Vince McMahon’s wrestling promotion on Twitter. The former Intercontinental Champion wants his late brother Umaga to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Umaga was one of the top WWE Superstars of his time. He made his professional wrestling debut back in 1995. He wrestled under multiple in-ring names like Armageddon 1, Eddie Fatu, Ekmo, Ekmo Fatu, Jamal and Osu Fatu. Umaga was his most popular in-ring name, as he wrestled most of his top WWE matches under that name.

His first stint with WWE was from 2001 to 2003. He wrestled for TNA Wrestling and All Japan Pro Wrestling after leaving WWE but came back to Vince McMahon’s wrestling promotion in the year 2005. After re-signing in 2005, Umaga returned to WWE in 2006 and built an undefeated streak on TV.

Most famously, Umaga was Vince McMahon’s representative in the Battle of Billionaires against Donald Trump. Donald’s representative was Bobby Lashley. Bobby beat Umaga at WrestleMania, which led to McMahon losing his hair.

WWE inducted the likes of Kane, Bella Twins, the nWo, JBL, British Bulldog, Rob van Dam and The Great Khali recently. It will be interesting to see if Umaga joins them soon.
