Ric Flair Says He Is A Huge Fan Of Bray Wyatt

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently gave his opinion on former WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt. Many members of the WWE Universe would know that WWE released Bray Wyatt earlier this year because of the budget cuts. Interestingly, Wyatt held the Universal Championship last year.

Bray Wyatt is famous for his creativity and gimmicks. In 2019, Wyatt reinvented himself as The Fiend and became one of the most popular characters in the company. Fans loved his new gimmick. Thus WWE pushed him to win the WWE Universal Championship in Saudi Arabia before 2019 ended.

Wyatt defended the title successfully against Daniel Bryan. His next opponent was WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg. While fans hopes that Wyatt would retain the title, WWE took the other way around and booked The Myth to win the championship from The Fiend.

After that, Wyatt had a unique Firefly Funhouse match with none other than WWE legend John Cena at WrestleMania 36. Bray won that match and regained the Universal Championship from Braun Strowman, who beat Goldberg at the Grandest Stage of ‘Em All. Roman Reigns then returned to SmackDown and became the Head of the Table.

The careers of Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman derailed. Soon after, WWE released the former Wyatt Family members from the company because of the budget cuts.

Ric Flair says he would rehire Bray Wyatt

“I would hire Bray Wyatt. I’m a huge fan of his, the kid can work and talk and he comes up with some incredible ideas,” said Ric Flair.

Wyatt has not wrestled a match since WrestleMania 37, where he lost to Randy Orton. It will be interesting to see if he returns to WWE or joins AEW.
