Mia Yim Is Not Mia Yim Anymore. She Is “Crazy”

Mia Yim has recently had an official name change. She will now be called “Michin” going forward. Yim returned recently on the November 7th edition of RAW to join the O.C. and solve their “Rhea Ripley problem”. She & her O.C. buddies also had a parking lot brawl with Ripley & her Judgment Day during RAW.

Even her O.C. members referred to her as “Michin” during a backstage segment on RAW. She has herself tweeted the new name and it’s meaning on twitter by writing “미친 . Michin (Mee-chin). Crazy.”

In the tweet, she has also put a picture of a former K-pop group, 4Minute, along with hers. They had released a song called Crazy in 2015.

She is from Korean ancestry on her mother’s side and the name means “Crazy” in the Korean language. Her name is officially MICHIN now on WWE.com as well.

This would be the fourth name change in her career. She went from Jade in IMPACT Wrestling to Mia Yim in WWE to Reckoning when she was in the Retribution faction and now she’s Michin. Her real life name is Stephanie Hym Lee though.

WWE released her last year during the pandemic budget cuts along with her husband Keith Lee who’s with AEW now.

Last week on RAW, she joined as the fourth member of the Women’s WarGames match team of Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss. They will take on Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY), Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series happening on November 26th. Michin’s team is a member short and it’s a mystery who she is and will probably be revealed at the start of the match.
