Uncle Howdy Is Revealed On SmackDown

Bray Wyatt has been an enigma for the past few months and in general. He finally returned on Extreme Rules after weeks of teasing fans with the “White Rabbit” riddles. He is part of the SmackDown roster now but things are still shrouded in mystery regarding what his intentions are.

This week he cut a cryptic promo again while backstage. It lasted only about two and a half minutes and had his new theme “Shatter” by Code Orange playing in the background. The promo that he cut this week wasn’t as heartfelt as last week’s in ring promo. It was a little dark. Wyatt was confessing to something in his usual puzzling language.

Some excerpts from his promo: “I confess that along this journey I am gonna do horrible horrible things and I will never regret them.”

“I’m just a servant now. I go where the circle takes me.”

Later in the show, a video appears. It flashes a QR code that leads to Wyatt’s psychiatric evaluation form.

The form says Wyatt has difficulty showing remorse or empathy and also has conflicts with social norms. It also says that he was disregarding or violating rights of others.

His confession was along these lines as well.

At the very end of the QR code video, a new character appears who says “Howdy”. It looked like an old cowboy with a long grey moustache wearing a hat with a barbed wire wrapped around it. The face wasn’t visible but it seemed more like a mask than an actual person.

This could be the “Uncle Howdy” character who is rumoured to be related to Wyatt and his rumoured stable of “Wyatt 6”. Wyatt had also changed his name sometime back to WYATT 6. It’s too early to say if it’s his alter ego like The Fiend or an altogether separate member of his faction.

It’s Wyatt’s creative genius that despite not being a top notch wrestler, he is still the most talked about.
