Rikishi Wants Another Anoa’i Family Member To Join WWE or AEW

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi wants WWE to sign his nephew who is a Major League Wrestling star. He is Jacob Fatu and he is the son of Rikishi’s twin brother Sam Fatu, former WWF and WCW wrestler.

During the K & S WrestleFest, the veteran asked why WWE or AEW hasn’t signed his nephew yet. Replying to a question he said, “WWE, why don’t you guys sign him? AEW? I believe he does (still have a contract with MLW). Otherwise, he wouldn’t be there.”

Jacob Fatu made his debut in MLW in 2019 where he became the longest reigning Heavyweight Champion in their history. He held the title for 819 days and it was Alex Hammerstone who finally beat him for it in October 2021.

He is a part of the Anoa’i dynasty which is dominating WWE as The Bloodline. It includes the face of the company, Roman Reigns, who is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He has held the world titles for a record breaking 772+ days. Rikishi’s 3 sons Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa are all part of the stable as well. The Usos have held the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles for a record number of 882+ days.

Roman Reigns will defend his Championship against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel on November 5 at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Jacob Fatu had talked about The Bloodline in an interview last year. He was all praises for his family’s faction and everybody in it. He said: “…The fucking Bloodline is here. It’s good though, man…I’m just happy to be a part of the family. I’m happy to hold the gold with them on the other side of the table.”

Fatu has last wrestled for MLW promotion in June. But he is active on the independent scene since then.

With the experience that he has, Fatu should be an important asset for The Bloodline. Maybe even a worthy successor to Roman Reigns, who has Hollywood plans in the future like his other famous cousin The Rock.
