Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will headline this year’s WWE SummerSlam premium live event on July 30 at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The two arch-rivals will compete in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
WWE is promoting the upcoming battle between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns as their last match ever. Since Roman has defeated Brock in the recent past, fans think that the Tribal Chief will emerge victorious in this match. But there is a possibility that Theory cashes in his Money in the Bank contract during this match and makes it a triple threat encounter.
He could get the better of both Superstars who would be tired and come out as the new WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. Defeating Roman or Brock is a big thing, but the following two Superstars have managed to pin both of them in singles matches.
1. Seth “Freakin” Rollins has defeated both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar
If Theory cashes in his Money in the Bank contract during the match between Roman and Brock, he won’t be the first Superstar to do so. Back in 2015, Seth “Freakin” Rollins pulled off the Heist of the Century in the main event of WrestleMania 31.
Rollins cashed in his contract and took the WWE Championship home. He defeated Roman Reigns at the 2016 Money in the Bank event later, while in 2019, he beat Brock at WrestleMania and SummerSlam.
2. Bobby Lashley
The only other WWE Superstar to own victories in singles matches against Roman and Brock is Bobby Lashley. The former WWE Champion defeated Reigns clean in a singles match at Extreme Rules in 2018.
Earlier this year, Lashley managed to pin Lesnar for the WWE Championship with the help of Roman. It should not be a surprise if Lashley or Seth Rollins become the Undisputed Champion one day.
