Keith Lee worked hard to add meaning to his matches in the indies

For almost every professional wrestler, the road to the bigger wrestling promotions starts from the indies. The same journey was for Keith Lee who wrestled in the indies before making it to WWE and then to AEW.

Lee always worked hard to make his matches in the indies mean something. Soon after, he joined WWE and became the face of the NXT brand. He became the first Superstar in the company’s history to hold the WWE NXT Championship and the NXT North American Championship together.

However, his main roster run was not successful. He defeated Randy Orton on his premium live event debut and even challenged for the world titles. But soon after, he was released from the company. After that, he joined AEW and is undefeated in singles matches as an AEW Superstar.
