“I’m Not Doing That”- The Undertaker’s First Opponent Reveals He Had To Buy $200 Ticket To Meet Undertaker In 2022

The Undertaker is all set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1, 2022. Vince McMahon himself confirmed that he will induct the Deadman into the Hall of Fame. While fans are celebrating the Deadman’s legendary career, the Undertaker’s first opponent is not getting a chance to meet his former rival.

Many fans would know that the first ever opponent of the Undertaker was Mario Mancini. During a recent appearance on the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, Mancini shared the details of how he wished to have a conversation with the Phenom but was unable to fulfill his request.

The Undertaker’s first opponent went to The Big Event wrestling convention in New York last Saturday, where the Phenom, real name Mark Calaway, was signing autographs for the fans. Mancini and Undertaker have not met for decades, so he wanted to introduce himself for the first time in 30 years.

Narrating what happened in New York, Mancini said:

“The woman doesn’t tell Mark I’m there and just looks at Scott and I and says, ‘I’m sorry, he’s just not gonna have the time. I go, ‘What do I have to do, buy a $200 ticket to go see him?’ I’m not doing that.”

The Undertaker’s first opponent wants to congratulate the Deadman on his career

Further, Mario Mancini added that he just wants to congratulate the Undertaker and mention how he was the person who kicked off his career. He wanted to congratulate the Deadman for his Hall of Fame induction and also wished to have his respect acknowledged.

It will be interesting to see if Mario Mancini’s wish is granted or not. Looking at what happened with him recently, it seems unlikely that Mancini will get his wishes fulfilled. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is all set to happen on April 1 before the WrestleMania 38 premium live event.
