Dijak Returns To The Ring And Tony D’Angelo Is Set To Return Next Week

Dijak, formerly known as Dominik Dijakovic and T-Bar made his NXT return on last week’s episode. He attacked NXT North American champion Wes Lee, laying him out.

Tonight he made his in-ring return as well against Dante Chen beating him decisively. Chen tried to counter him but was bloodied and almost knocked out before getting pinned from Dijak’s finisher.

The North American Champion is still on top of the list for the returning heavyweight. Lee was absent from the show but Dijak announced on the mic that his attack on him was an example of hard justice. He also put all top stars on notice by taking their names. He said,…This place. NXT. This is a place of refuge, but not for me… Wes Lee. Dante Chen. Apollo Crews, Bron Breakker, it makes no difference to me. All of you are faceless men who will be brought to justice. My justice.”

But it seems it’s not just the big man who’s after Lee. As Dijak was leaving the arena, Tony D’Angelo approached him. D’Angelo thanked him for softening up Wes for him. He injured his knee in a match with the champ in September and has since called him out in promos. He returns to the NXT ring next week.

After moving up to the main roster on RAW, Dijak joined the RETRIBUTION faction headed by Mustafa Ali. He got a new ring name T-BAR there. That faction ended soon.

Dijak first started teasing his return at Halloween Havoc by burning his T-BAR mask from RETRIBUTION. These teasers have played now and then on many NXT episodes. As T-BAR, he was mainly a jobber on the main roster and performing mostly on the Main Event show. Therefore, him returning to his NXT roots and reinventing himself, is a good idea.

Dijak’s encounter with Lee would be a good David vs Goliath type scenario. But with D’Angelo in the mix, it has become more interesting.
