Trish Stratus is one of the legendary women’s Superstars. The former women’s champion wrestled her last match at SummerSlam 2019 against Queen Charlotte Flair. After defeating Trish, Charlotte earned the tag of the Queen of All Eras. It seems unlikely that Trish will come out of retirement and have one more match because the SummerSlam match looked like a good way to bid farewell.
However, as per reports, Stratus is not retired and is interested in having a match against former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Another female Superstar who seems to be on Stratus’ list of opponents is former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
In a recent chat with VIBE 105.5 FM, Trish Stratus opened up on her recent confrontation with Becky Lynch at a recent live event in Canada and said:
“I saw Asuka has returned to WWE television so I’m going to be patiently watching that feud unfold. Becky in the meantime has hit rock bottom, lost her stuff, she lost her Women’s championship. I’m always here waiting in the wings and watching. Maybe or maybe not, that’s what I’ll say to you guys.”
Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch could happen in Saudi Arabia later this year
Earlier this year, fans witnessed a dream match between Becky Lynch and Lita for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at the Saudi Arabian premium live event titled WWE Elimination Chamber. With the TLC premium live event likely to happen in Saudi Arabia later this year, there is a chance that fans may witness a match between Lynch and Stratus at that show.
Another opponent for Stratus could be Alexa Bliss, who recently made her comeback to the WWE RAW roster. It will be interesting to see if WWE considers booking Trish Stratus in another match later this year at a premium live event.
