2 Male Superstars Whom CEO Stephanie McMahon Wants Back In WWE

WWE’s interim CEO Stephanie McMahon has a lot of power in the company now. When Stephanie took an indefinite leave of absence from the company, not many would have expected her to become the interim CEO in 2022. However, the pro wrestling world is very unpredictable, and following Vince McMahon’s decision to step down as CEO, Stephanie got the position.

Stephanie McMahon and her husband Triple H have already signed social media celebrity Logan Paul to WWE. In her past interviews, Stephanie expressed her desire to see the following two Superstars back in the ring once again. Here’s a list of those two names.

1. Stephanie McMahon once talked about CM Punk’s return to WWE

CM Punk made an earth-shattering return to professional wrestling last August on the first episode of All Elite Wrestling’s show Rampage. Just the rumor of Punk’s AEW debut sold out an entire arena, and he came out to a thunderous response.

Fans can only imagine the way the WWE Universe would react when Punk comes back to WWE one day. In one of her interviews with Metro, Stephanie discussed CM Punk’s return before his AEW debut and said:

“I think Punk’s been pretty vocal that he’s not interested in an in-ring return right now, but for sure, that would be interesting.”

2. The Rock

The Rock has not appeared on WWE TV since SmackDown’s first episode since the blue brand’s switch to FOX on Friday nights. He destroyed King Corbin along with the then RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch on his return to WWE.

Rumors have claimed that WWE is planning a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock for a long. Giving her opinion on The Rock’s return, Stephanie had said during a media scrum:

“We’re always talking to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and hoping he’s going to come back. Sometimes it pans out, sometimes it doesn’t, but we’re always talking.”
