“the biggest and baddest dude” Mustafa Ali Acknowledges Bobby Lashley After His Loss To Him

Mustafa Ali recently lost a match against Bobby Lashley on RAW. He recently tweeted his thoughts on the loss and surprisingly called Lashley “biggest and baddest”. He wrote:

“ain’t no shame losing to the biggest and baddest dude on the roster. the only shame would be not fighting back at all”

Ever since losing his big match against Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel, Lashley has displayed his aggressive nature on RAW. He has gone through whoever stands in front ruthlessly without remorse. On last week’s RAW, Lashley disposed off Ali by manhandling him backstage and took his place accepting Seth Rollins’ open challenge. He laid a beating on Rollins and laid him out even before the match could start. When Austin Theory tried to cash-in his MITB contract on the downed Rollins, he beat him up as well.

This week, Lashley came to the ring to send a warning to Rollins but Ali interrupted him again. After some verbal exchange, the two had a match and once again, Mustafa got dominated and pinned by the All Mighty in less than 5 minutes.

Lashley, who doesn’t consider Ali as much of a competition now, had once acknowledged him when Lashley was the US champion.

The United States Championship, although a mid card title, has been the centre of attraction on RAW with multiple contenders vying for it. Bobby Lashley, Mustafa Ali and Austin Theory are all going after Seth Rollins’ title for months now. Lashley seems to be the most likely to recapture it and Ali seems to be the least likely. A fatal 4-way match seems to be the way to go to settle this. Theory can take advantage of this feud between Lashley and Ali, to capture the title again. He also has a bone to pick with Lashley as he cost him the MITB contract last week. How this situation develops in the coming weeks leading up to Survivor Series should be interesting to watch.
