Top Dolla Botches Big Time On SmackDown. Is Ridiculed And Gives Explanation.

Hit Row’s Top Dolla botched big time on the last SmackDown. Hit Row was facing The Viking Raiders and Legado Del Fantasma for the No. 1 contender spot for The Usos’ Unified Tag Team titles. The Botch happened as the big man was attempting a risky move during the match.

During a spot in the match, Dolla was attempting a top rope dive on his opponents who were outside. As he dove, he didn’t make it and got stuck on the top ropes & just landed on his feet outside. This provided for a hilarious botch. B-Fab clapped for him to cover up the situation but everyone saw it. It led to a major backlash from the audience in the arena and online as well.

In spite of Dolla’s botch, Hit Row won the triple threat tag team match and became the No. 1 contenders. He was quick to provide an explanation for this mistake by tweeting that his leg gave out resulting in this faux pas. It seems correct because he was favouring only one leg for the rest of the match. He also tweeted out a video of himself doing the same move for another promotion for validation. In the tweet, he also revealed that he was 50 lbs heavier in this video.

An unlikely ally came to his rescue here as well. It was former WWE & current AEW talent Mark Henry. He tweeted some words of encouragement for the big guy & praised him for being courageous enough to try the move. Dolla retweeted Henry’s tweet as well.

However, this wasn’t the only botch happening this week. Over on RAW, Alexa Bliss was involved in a scary botch as well. Like Dolla, she was participating in a #1 contender match as well. She won her match too but not before succumbing to a botch in the match. She was going for a hurricanrana on Bayley and they both fell face first on the mat. Fortunately, they were unhurt. Top Dolla is ok too.
