ROH Star Jay Briscoe Passes Away In a Car Crash. His Daughters Are Critical.

Ring of Honor star Jay Briscoe unfortunately passed away on Tuesday in a car crash where another driver expired as well. His two daughters, ages 9 and 12, were present in his vehicle as well. One of them is in critical condition.

Delaware State Police have now released details regarding this ghastly accident. The crash happened east of Laurel, a small town in Sussex County, Delaware. The other driver whose vehicle collided with Briscoe’s was Lillyanne Ternahan, 27, of Frankford, Delaware. According to the police, Ternahan’s vehicle crossed the center lane and collided head-on with Jay’s pickup truck. She has died in the crash as well.

Jay was driving a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 in the eastbound lane of Laurel Road and Ternahan was traveling west, in a Silverado 1500. For unknown reasons, Trenahan failed to remain in her lane, crossed the center line and entered the eastbound lane, directly into the path of the Silverado 2500. This resulted in a head-on collision between the two pickup trucks in that lane. She was wearing her seat belt but Jay wasn’t. His daughters were properly restrained in the backseat. An ambulance took them to an area hospital in critical condition. Both drivers had died on the spot. If either of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol is unknown.

Jay Briscoe, real name Jamin Pugh, is survived by his wife Ashley, son Gannon and daughters Gracie and Jayleigh. His wife posted an update on the condition of their daughters on her social media. She wrote: “We need prayers! Gracie is on her way into surgery on her back. Jamin would want the whole world praying for his little girl. WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!! Pray for the doctors and everyone working on her! Pray for her precious legs to move again!…Pray for strength for all of us! We have a long long road ahead of us!”
