Finn Bálor Doesn’t Support The Canadian Soccer Team At The World Cup Because Of Kevin Owens

Finn Bálor and Kevin Owens have gone back and forth on twitter after KO delivered a stunner on Bálor during RAW this week. Bálor doesn’t support Owens’ team Canada in the FIFA World Cup anymore. Owens was a heel earlier and Finn being a heel as well, he did not expect Kevin to turn on him.

In the tweet, Bálor wrote surprised “Kev, WTF? @FightOwensFight” while tweeting a photo of the incident.

To this, KO had a hilarious reply. While quoting his tweet, he said,

“I was going for a snapmare, I swear! I don’t know what happened.”

The stunner happened on RAW when The Brawling Brutes Collided with The Judgment Day while KO was on the commentary. After the match, he snuck up on Bálor from behind and stunned him in the middle of the ring.

Finn replied to the Canadian superstar in a quoted tweet where he revealed that he was supporting Team Canada but now he was not upset they lost.

He wrote “I had been cheering for Canada in the World Cup today, but after reading this tweet from @FightOwensFight I’m not at all upset they lost!”

The Canadian team also called Les Rouges (The Red), were in their first ever World Cup match. They lost to their fellow Group F team Belgium on November 23^rd 2022. The final score was 1-0.

As the FIFA World Cup began, many WWE superstars started supporting their teams. American superstars like Liv Morgan, Braun Strowman and others are sending their best wishes to team USA. Foreign superstars like Ludwig Kaiser, Shinsuke Nakamura etc are supporting their native countries.

Finn Bálor will face AJ Styles at Survivor Series this Saturday. Their factions, The Judgment Day and The O.C. had a parking lot brawl this Monday.

Kevin Owens will be a part of the team with The Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre against The Bloodline in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
