“I Won Solo…Nobody Else Helped Me” A Returning Veteran Gets A Big Win On RAW

A surprise return happened on RAW when a 50-year-old veteran came back and defeated a current RAW superstar. R-Truth made a triumphant return on RAW against The Miz in a single match in his hometown.

During an in-ring segment with Johnny Gargano, The Miz was discussing his frustrating situation with Dexter Lumis. Lumis has been stalking him for weeks and Miz was explaining why he was being targeted by the weirdo. But Gargano did not believe him at all. An argument ensued between them when R-Truth made his way to the ring. RAW was emanating from Truth’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Truth did not like The Miz making jokes at the expense of mac and cheese and challenged him to a match. Although the A-Lister was reluctant at first, he accepted the match when Gargano teased him for having small balls.

R-Truth performed his favorite childhood wrestler John Cena’s Five Moves of Doom during the match. He was also going for the Five Knuckle Shuffle when The Miz countered with a kick to the head. After a running knee, Miz was going to put him down with the Skull Crushing Finale. But right then he spotted a man in a hoodie who was behaving like Dexter Lumis. Capitalizing on the distraction, R-Truth rolled him up in a small package hold and got the pinfall. The mysterious figure in the front row revealed himself to be none other than Johnny Gargano.

During a backstage interview after the match with Cathy Kelly, Truth thanked Gargano for the help but claimed that he won that match solo. He even mentioned that his imaginary friend Little Jimmy was outside the ring.

“I won solo…Nobody else helped me. Little Jimmy was on the outside but I won that match…” He said

R-Truth is a former United States champion and this was his first match on RAW since July 11^th. Also Miz had promised to reveal a major secret on RAW in an online promo, but that’s going to happen next week.
