The Undertaker has retired from WWE, but he makes sporadic appearances for the company on TV. Recently, he met Ronda Rousey on ESPN’s “Rowdy’s Places” series, where he recreated the iconic Hell in a Cell with an action figure resembling Mick Foley. The Undertaker and Mick Foley had a brutal rivalry during their prime.
In one of their Hell in a Cell match, the Undertaker and Mick Foley executed a very dangerous spot, where the Deadman threw Foley off the Hell in a Cell. Speaking to Ronda Rousey, the Deadman took a mask and put it on Foley’s action figure so that it looked similar to Mankind, the alter-ego of Foley.
He then threw it off down to the floor. Ronda Rousey patted his back because the throw was accurate. Before throwing the figure, though, the Undertaker apologized to Mick Foley and said:
“I’m sorry brother, but you gotta do what you gotta do.”
Both Undertaker and Foley have retired from WWE. It is highly unlikely that we will miss the legends in the ring again because they suffered brutal injuries during their time as an active pro wrestler. Both are still around WWE, but they may never wrestle again.
While Foley’s chances of wrestling are zero, the Deadman might still have one last match if Vince McMahon wants him to. Retirements are not forever in WWE. Over the years, fans have seen many Superstars make a comeback after announcing their retirements. The Deadman called it a day on his career at Survivor Series 2020.
However, the reason why some fans think he may wrestle again is the fact that his last match happened with no fans in attendance. It will be interesting to see if the Undertaker wrestles again or only makes media appearances for WWE.
