The Uso’s RAW Tag Team Titles Will Be Defended After A Long Time

Brand new contenders for The Uso’s RAW Tag Team titles from their Undisputed Tag Team titles were decided on RAW yesterday after an exciting Tag Team Turmoil tournament.

The tournament started with a match between The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) and The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows). Bálor started the match against Anderson and after a lot of back and forth, Gallows tagged in. After some double teaming by the Good Brothers on Bálor, he was able to tag in Priest. The O.C. still seemed to be having the better of The Judgment Day until Dominik Mysterio tripped Anderson and Bálor rolled him up for the pin. The O.C. is eliminated.

It was Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin next. They quickly tried to take advantage of their tired opponents and took the fight to them. They were dominating The Judgment Day until the end when Bálor and Priest managed to sneak out a victory. Alexander and Benjamin were eliminated.

Alpha Academy then made their way to the ring. They had a tough battle with Priest and Bálor with both parties giving each other hell. However, Bálor was crafty enough to pull Chad Gable on top of him when Otis was doing a Vader Bomb. The Tree Trunk landed on his partner Gable directly.

Otis couldn’t believe what he had done. Priest took advantage and superkicked Otis followed by an explosive lariat to get yet another win for his team.

Unforfunately, the 300+ pounder’s massive splash had done damage on Bálor as well. The WWE officials ruled him out for the rest of the tournament. Adam Pearce asked The Judgment Day to forfeit or have Dominik Mysterio replace Bálor. Priest agreed to Dominik joining him and the match continued.

Finally, it was Dominik and Priest’s turn to face The Street Profits. This was easily the best match in the tournament which saw lots of high risk maneuvers. Priest was even bleeding from the mouth. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford quickly isolated the novice Mysterio and worked on him, taunting him all along. Finally Priest tagged in and started getting some offense on The Street Profits. It looked like Ford and Dawkins will finally be the # 1 contenders. Ford hit the 450 Splash on Dominik but Priest pulled Ford out of the ring.

Ford sent Priest head first into the ring steps but as he was entering the ring, Dominik pinned him using the ring ropes as leverage. This was the first time the youngster has picked up a big win for his team.

Winners of the Tag Team Turmoil : The Judgment Day

As they were all celebrating with Rhea Ripley joining them as well, the tag team champs Usos came out. They held the RAW tag team belts in their faces and had some words. The Judgment Day may have beaten everyone in this grueling tournament but beating The Usos won’t be easy. Usos have been undefeated for almost 600 days.
