A Twitter User Hilariously Explains Why WWE Shortened Austin Theory’s Name To ‘Theory’

Austin Theory is one of the new Superstars on the WWE roster. He has made a name for himself with his incredible pro wrestling skills. While his promo work is not the best in WWE, he has shown that he has got what it takes to succeed in this business.

Vince McMahon has taken him under his wing on WWE TV since the Survivor Series premium live event. Theory came into the limelight when he stole the golden egg at the Survivor Series show.

He then received a chance to compete in the Royal Rumble and then for the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber and the MSG Live Event. According to a rumor, Vince McMahon views Austin Theory as the next John Cena.

However, this past week on WWE RAW, in a backstage segment, Austin Theory informed that his name is just Theory now. His name has also been changed on the official website of the company.

Fans are confused due to the change, and now a Twitter user gave a hilarious reason behind it.

“Austin Theory took a stunner from Stone Cold that was so powerful that he got rid of the name Austin because of the trauma. Incredible storytelling,” he wrote.

What happened between Austin Theory and Stone Cold at WrestleMania 38?

On WrestleMania Sunday, Theory made his debut at the Showcase of Immortals in a singles match against commentator Pat McAfee. Pat won the match, and after that Vince McMahon came into the ring to have a match with him.

McMahon defeated Pat thanks to some assistance from Theory. When Theory and McMahon were celebrating, Stone Cold came out much to everyone’s surprise and hit a stunner on both the men inside the ring. He then celebrated with McAfee before hitting him with a picture perfect stunner as well.
